Mimi and Rayne

 For Rayne's tenth birthday we purchased a fantastic sewing machine in hopes that she will work diligently to learn to sew.  She was thrilled...as was I.  I can't wait for her to take over all of my sewing needs...curtains, table cloths, pillow covers, skirts, mending...ah....the list goes on.  We headed over to Mimi's house for her first tutorial.

The store we bought the machine from offered owner's classes.  Our teacher, Pam, was a wonderful teacher.  Very patient...enthusiastic...and encouraging. 

This past Wednesday, Rayne began her official sewing lessons.  Dori, from Oma's Nook, said that Rayne was a natural and caught on amazingly fast.  That's my girl!
