Happy Birthday, Daddy/PawPaw

Mom and Dad
My Father is the most wonderful father a gal could every hope for.  He, along with my mother, raised my four sister's, brother and me to have a deep love for God and one another.  He modeled to us what it means to honor ones parents, and I hope that I am fulfilling his example in my own life.  My father is a man that is not afraid to live out an old fashioned Godly lifestyle before all.  He has remained true to my mother and faithful to our family.  He lives a consistent and pure life, never wavering in his faith.  He demonstrates and speaks of his love for his family which makes it easy for each of us to give and receive love in return. There was never a time that I could not speak to him about anything.  He walked with me through my triumphs and failures, rejoicing with me or lifting me as needed.  Growing up, I felt that I could accomplish anything because I knew he was always on the sidelines cheering me on!  He is still a giant in my eyes, and I only wish that I could live close enough to see him daily and partake of his many years of wisdom.

Today is his birthday, and the kids and I are hoping that he will get a little bit of joy out of our antics. Happy Birthday, Daddy, and may God bless you with many, many more!

Martin playing a rendition of "Happy Birthday" on the trumpet...and Rayne singing along.

Rayne singing "L-O-V-E" in her cute and sassy way.  Oh yeah, and don't miss the incredible trumpet solo by Martin himself!  (wink)
