Every so often I like to stop in the thrift stores (particularly Salvation Army, Goodwill, and the Habitat for Humanity ReStore) to check and see what treasures I can find. The other day I came across this little settee made by Hickory Chair, www.hickorychair.com, which I could not resist. The quality was unmistakable; the piece was well preserved with only a few scratches and a couple of small tears. The color is faded some, but it suits me just fine.
Currently it sits in front of my piano, but I am sure it will make its way around my entire house given a little time.

It's my color NeeKee. Very nice. My sofa has little tears on it now. After 17 years I guess it's time. I'll see if it will last another 17!
