Introducing the Peony Tree

This is my most favorite flower in all the whole world.  Ok...perhaps I haven't seen every flower in the whole wide world, but out of the ones I have seen, this beats them all hands down.  The blooms of my peony tree are impressively gigantic, and the fragrance is so very nice...not exactly sweet, but more like a light exotic floral fragrance.  This plant is an actual tree just as the name suggests...with a trunk, bark and all.  The blooms of my peony tree have now faded as they only last about 2 weeks, but I can still enjoy the blooms from my peony bushes.  They begin to bloom about a month after the tree.  You can see my peony bush beginning to fill out in the background.

Ohhh...drool, drool, lust, lust, drool again....I adore peonies. Check out the bouquet I'm posting now. It has peonies in it! They are only available to us florists a limited time as well...and you know limited supply and time makes the price go way up! and they aren't nearly as lovely as yours....just beautiful!

I agree, the blooms on peonies are beautiful- so elegant, feminine & romantic! Love them. And I love that purple you have!
