This Easter was very different for us. Typically Easter is preceded with weeks and weeks of rehearsals in preparation for our annual Resurrection Sunday presentation. There is little time to do much else. Monday, drama. Tuesday, band. Wednesday and a few Fridays leading up to Easter are choir rehearsals. It is a very tiring but rewarding process. Due to the recent building program our church has entered into, we have found ourselves displaced, worshiping in a high school, with no facility at this time to host our choir rehearsals. Thus...no big fanfare this Easter.
In some ways it was very nice to not have the pressure of our usual activities, but when it was all said and done...I have to admit...I really missed our rehearsals and presentation. There will always be next year.
Here are a few pictures I took of the kids Easter Sunday afternoon. Yeah...I know it looks lonely without all of those rowdy Louisiana cousins.
These two really are pals. I love to see them laugh and act silly together...when they're not in school that is. They can drive me batty when the sillies kick in on a school day!
Until next time.....

I am all too familiar with the sillies! And it drives me nuts. It's seems it's either one extreme or the other---fighting or the sillies.
Really cute pictures!
