Two of Rayne's cousins had this sweet little dress, and Rayne liked it so well that my mom bought one for her. A couple of weeks ago we pulled the dress out of the closet to wear for the first time. For some reason it just didn't have the same affect on her as it did on her other two cousins. This called for a little creativity!
Fashion tip from Rayne... "If it doesn't work as a dress, then by all means, make it a shirt or a skirt!"
She wore this little dress as a skirt. We pulled the bodice down to her waist so that it fit snug from waist to hips. The skirt of the dress continued down to her ankles in soft and feminine ruffles. She looked adorable. The sash that you see wrapped around her head was actually around her hips. This photo was taken after Sunday School, and she was getting a little more relaxed and casual.
