Martin came to me the other day with this poem. He wrote it on the heels of our discussion concerning the bombardment of "entertainment".
Noise
Noise is all around us everyday
When we walk, sleep, talk or play
There is no pause in the noise we hear
It just goes on, year after year
No one takes time to sit and rest
Neither do I, I must confess
But when we’re quiet and listen, quiet is what we’ll hear
And that’s good for us, so have no fear.

Please inform me whenever you update and I'll rush to view...... Love Mimi
Hey Nekee,
This is great! I already love your blog. Today I read your email and quickly logged onto your blog. Love the kids poetry and paragraphs. Tell them Aunt Melba can't wait to hear more about their accomplishments! I also expect to see some videos of some singing as well!
I left a comment earlier, but I don't see it anymore. Anyway, I'm so excited about the new blog and hearing all about the accomplishments of the Libby kids. I'm sure it will be great since they both are smart like their Aunt Melba. By the way, I expect a daily report!
