Also...if you did not know...I really like to play scrabble. Unfortunately, I do not have anyone in my family that enjoys it. I came across this oversized board and thought that surely, if I had one of these, someone just might be tempted to play. It is much bigger than it appears and is mounted on a "lazy Susan". The wooden tiles are in the little canvas bag sitting on the board.

I LOVE scrabble too...and cannot find a partner who isn't a poor sport at losing in my house- not naming names.

P.S. The light fixture is really cool.
I just saw an article in a Coastal Living magazine that had a Scrabble board like that. They left it out on the coffee table at all times and just had a perpetual game always going. Thought it was a neat idea.

Have you ever played against the scrabble queen "Plainoldkristi"? She is a mean old queen when it comes to playing scrabble! Bestowing no mercy upon us poor little plebians--she wins everytime!
Hey NeeKee, If you ever want to make a cool fixture like that, I bet you could. Byron has rewired old fixtures I bought at goodwill. Zip zip zip! Ummm...I have a huge scrabble board on a turn table. I keep it under the couch. I'll pull it out next time you come over!
