I am not certain if blogging is going to be something that my family and I will enjoy doing or even stay current with, but we are going to give it a hearty try!
I homeschool my two children, Martin (Mar), who is in 7th grade, and Rayne (Ray) who is in 2nd grade...thus the name of the blog. I thought this may be a nice place for the two of them to share some of what they write and do. It seems almost defeating to work really hard at an assignment only to have an audience of four to view their efforts. They are both excited to post their work, as well as share with family and friends their interests and what is going on in the lives of "The Ray-Mar-kable Libby Kids!

Where were you guys at with the ice, penguins, and same coats?
Melba, we were in an igloo at the special, limited time "ICE" exhibit. It was a huge display of ice scuptures at the National Harbor in DC. Very cool!
